Caswell L. Samms III, MBA, serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for ¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾«Æ· Children’s Health. He is a member of the Executive Cabinet, reporting to ¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾«Æ· President and Chief Executive Officer R. Lawrence Moss, MD, FACS, FAAP.

Caswell leads ¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾«Æ· financial strategy, ensuring the organization's long-term financial strength and stability while advancing its commitment to Whole Child Health. He oversees the high-performing Finance division, aligning financial performance with ¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾«Æ· mission-driven goals.

With more than 25 years of progressive experience in large healthcare systems, Caswell previously served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at St. Joseph's Health in Paterson, New Jersey. His executive experience spans budgeting, revenue cycle, and business development, with a proven track record in both operations and finance.

Caswell holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Virginia State University and an MBA from Regis University. He has achieved Green Belt Certification in Lean Management and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Healthcare Financial Management Association. His leadership has been widely recognized, including being named among Becker's Hospital Review's Rising Stars under 40 and Diversity MBA's Top 100 Under 50 Executive Leaders.

Caswell is based in the Delaware Valley.
