James P. Digan has more than 30 years of experience in academic and hospital fundraising, with a national reputation as a fundraising and marketing leader. He currently serves as President of the ¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾«Æ· Children’s Health Alliance and provides strategic leadership and guidance for fundraising across five states. He oversees the design and implementation of ¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾«Æ· comprehensive fundraising programs, manages fundraising teams across multiple geographies and enhances ¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾«Æ· philanthropic revenue, reputation, reach and donor constituency base through innovative and evolving programs. He assumed his role at ¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾«Æ· in the summer of 2020.

Before joining ¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾«Æ· Children’s Health Alliance, Jim served as President of the Baylor Medical Foundation, Senior Vice President of Baylor College of Medicine, President of Nationwide Children’s Foundation and Vice President of International Outreach for Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Prior, he was President of the Rochester General Foundation for Rochester General Health System, a 650-bed community health system. He also served as Executive Vice President for Development and Chief Advancement Officer at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, in addition to several other prominent positions in academia and development.

Jim continues to serve as director of the Zweig Foundation, a private family foundation established to improve society by supporting the environment, education and health care.

He is a graduate of Colgate University in New York.
