Executive Vice President, Chief Financial and Business Services Officer
Rodney McKendree is ¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾«Æ· Executive Vice President, Chief Financial and Business Services Officer. He is a member of the Executive Cabinet reporting to ¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾«Æ· President and Chief Executive Officer, R. Lawrence Moss, MD, FACS, FAAP.
As EVP, Chief Financial and Business Services Officer, he is responsible for ¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾«Æ· Financial Services including Accounting and Budget, the Central Business Office, Managed Care, Compliance, Materials Management, Facilities, Information Technology, Continuous Improvement, Legal Services, and Child Health Policy and Prevention.
Rodney was appointed to the ¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾«Æ· Executive Team in 2006 serving as Vice President, Finance, and in 2014 became a senior vice president and chief financial officer. Prior to joining ¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾«Æ· in 1999, he was a senior manager in KPMG’s Jacksonville office, with both health care and other not-for-profit audit clients.
Rodney is a member of Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) and Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA). He is a former member of the Baker County Development Commission, having served after an appointment from former Florida Governor Lawton Chiles.
Rodney McKendree was born in Jacksonville, Florida. He received his undergraduate and master’s degrees in accounting from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. In 1991, he earned the CPA designation. He lives in Macclenny, Florida. with his wife Paula, and has two children. He enjoys fishing, golfing and Gator basketball. He serves on numerous committees and board positions at Raiford Road Church in Macclenny.
