Research Postdoctoral Fellowship Within the Center for Health Care Delivery Science
Program Overview
The Center for Healthcare Delivery Science (CHDS) at 消消消消消消消娼瞳 Childrens invites applications for a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at 消消消消消消消娼瞳 Childrens Hospital, Delaware, to begin in Spring or Summer 2021.
Health care delivery science is the application of scientific methods and principles to the analysis of variables and processes that affect the delivery, safety, outcomes, cost, quality and value of pediatric health care. CHDS is led by Drs. Anne Kazak, Melissa Alderfer and Susana Patton. Center faculty include Drs. Kimberly Canter, J.J. Cutuli, Paul Enlow, Aimee Hildenbrand, Ly Phan, Jessica Pierce, Julia Price, Erica Sood and Rachel Wasserman.
We are seeking individuals interested in clinical research who aspire to academic research careers. Fellows may have a variety of backgrounds (e.g., psychology, medicine, nursing, public health). The fellow will assist CHDS research faculty in clinical research projects across several pediatric conditions with a focus on intervention development and evaluation, community engagement, implementation science, eHealth and health equity. For a fellow seeking psychology licensure, 20% time will be devoted to clinical work in the Division of Behavioral Health at 消消消消消消消娼瞳 Children's Hospital, Delaware. These applicants should have completed a PhD and predoctoral internship from programs accredited by the American Psychological Association.
Fellows in the Center have the opportunity to:
- Conduct all aspects of clinical research including project planning, recruitment and data collection, manualized treatment development and delivery, data management and analyses, and manuscript preparation.
- Write and submit grant applications with mentorship, including the opportunity to apply for internal fellowship project funding.
- Receive supervised clinical training and accrue hours needed for psychology licensure. Attend various educational sessions including continuing education presentations, biomedical research presentations, grand rounds, and center-based research meetings.
- Become part of a strong cohort of pediatric psychology fellows across the 消消消消消消消娼瞳.
