RN Residency Program in Orlando

¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾«Æ· Children’s Hospital, Florida in Orlando offers a one-year, new graduate RN Residency Program. We provide education and training designed to transition newly graduated registered nurses from students to safe, competent professionals.

The program's main goals are to:

  • Provide a comprehensive, standardized approach designed to transition a new graduate RN into professional practice.
  • Improve the quality of patient care through continuously developing competent and safe beginning level clinical nurses.

This residency program benefits patients and families, the professional practice environment, and the organization as a whole through the focus of quality, safety and the patient experience. The program is also grounded in evidence-based practice and competency validation.

We post new graduate openings to our when we start the recruitment process for the next cohort. The entire recruitment process may take 90 days, so we begin the process well in advance of the start date.
