Get to Know Me

I’m a native Floridian who grew up in Titusville. I went to medical school at the University of Miami School of Medicine, and did my residency at Arnold Palmer Hospital. I have a Masters in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University. Growing up, my role model was my father – a physician who still practices medicine at 78, so it was a natural for me to go into medicine.

Why I Treat Children

I love all children, from babies to teenagers. As a parent myself, I like to mentor and help other parents deal with behavioral issues and getting past the tough toddler years.

What I'm Passionate About

I’m passionate about good health and nutrition. I promote breastfeeding nutrition for new moms and their babies. I’m involved in public health policy to make recommendations for changes to help fight childhood obesity and improve nutrition.

How I Try to Make A Difference

I make a point of giving each family and child the attention they deserve. I take the time to address all their concerns, knowing that every question is important. Also, I enjoy mentoring first-year medical students, introducing them to pediatric medicine. I volunteer at a free health clinic for the underserved and uninsured through my church.
