Research Activities
I’ve done studies on a wide range of medical topics, including Epstein-Barr virus in children, the mechanisms of lymphoma in patients whose immune systems have been suppressed, and the use of transplant organs donated by families of people who suffered non-accidental trauma.
Medical Interests
- Portal hypertension (high blood pressure in the portal vein and surrounding blood vessels)
- Surgical treatment of portal hypertension
