Biography

Lloyd Werk, MD, MPH, Associate Chief, Quality & Patient Safety and Vice Chair, Department of Pediatrics at 消消消消消消消娼瞳 Children's Hospital, FL works in the 消消消消消消消娼瞳但俗Department但俗of Quality and Safety developing systems and measures to help clinicians reach institutional goals in quality and health outcomes as well as directs the 消消消消消消消娼瞳 portfolio of Maintenance of Certification projects, chairs the Quality and Patient Safety Committee, chairs the Quality Review Committee, and co-leads the 消消消消消消消娼瞳 Quality Champions program. He is a Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. Dr. Lloyd Werk earned his medical degree from Tel Aviv University and his master's in public health from Boston University in Massachusetts. He began his career as a general pediatrician in a primary care practice in Commack, New York and then completed his fellowship in general academic pediatrics at Boston University. He has been with 消消消消消消消娼瞳 Children's Health since 1999. He has authored and contributed to several manuscripts, presentations, and abstracts related to how patient care delivery can be improved, as well as efforts to promote healthy lifestyle changes. In the Department of Pediatrics, he works with faculty to promote their development and chairs the NCH, FL Appointment and Promotions Committee. He mentors young investigator research and lectures on quality and safety among other topics.
