National Wilms Tumor Late Effects Study

What is the trial about?

The purpose of this research is to learn more about the possible causes of Wilms tumor and the effects of successful treatment for Wilms tumor.

Who can participate?

Children and adults who were diagnosed with a Wilms tumor before the age of 16 and who were treated on NWTS-5.

What is involved?

  • Participation lasts until the National Wilms Tumor Study (NWTS) finishes collecting Late Effects data from all the patients enrolled on this study.
  • Participation involves completing several forms about your child's family and current state of health. We may ask to send copies of your child's past medical records to the NWTS.
