Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes
Bone marrow failure syndromes are blood disorders that happen when bone marrow (the red, spongy material inside our bones) doesn’t make enough blood. Bone marrow failure can happen because of a genetic condition a baby is born with, or it can happen due to an illness like leukemia or exposure to an outside toxin or infection.
